A powerful, feature rich touch screen software package for phased array inspections

UltraPhase software is intuitive and simply to use, yet extremely powerful. With great features like the dynamic adaptive slider bar for parameter adjustment, automatic report generation, in-built beam ray-trace designer, unlimited file sizes and much much more, the UltraPhase software offers a complete solution for Phased Array ultrasonic inspection.

For code compliance, UltraPhase also provides a full suite of calibration utilities for Element, Angle, Wedge, Material Velocity and Time-Corrected-Gain(TCG).

For defect characterisation, UltraPhase provides a defect mark-up utility which allows the user to characterise and record defects. With standard or custom dB sizing methods, a permanent record in tabular and graphical form can be produced for each and every defect indication. The tabular output can be added to the report generator.

UltraPhase supports multiple probes. Eight different setup groups are available to enable the material under test to be fully inspected

Ultrasonic Beam Ray Tracing Utility

As standard, the UltraPhase software provides an ultrasonic beam ray tracing utility, which allows the user to graphically display the projected ultrasonic beams. This provides a true representation of the ultrasonic coverage of a weld or material under test.

The user can also interactively change the position of the probe/wedge and ultrasonic start/end angles to visualise the ultrasonic coverage of the weld. This simplifies the setup process, with all changes updated on the corresponding display windows.

The type of weld under inspection can be selected from a standard list, or can be defined by the user (coming soon). Several parameters can be adjusted such as the front/backwall, weld cap size, number of skips etc. Single and multi-probes are also supported.

The UltraPhase software allows the user to import from a 3rd party CAD package (coming soon), so more complex geometries can be visualised with the software.

 



Automatic Report Generator

 

The UltraPhase software provides the capability to generate automatic Word document reports at the touch of a button.

User definable options control the content that will appear on the Word document report. This can include your company logo, inspection details, display windows etc.

The report generator also provides an option to export image data in a number of industry standard formats including jpg, png and bmp file formats.
