P-2 Series Contour Probes

B-100 Contour Probe

Wide Versatility, Mechanically, the B-100 Probe will conform to practically any surface configuration. Strong, constant AC fields or high intensity pulsed DC fields, using the DC-300 power supply.

B-300MR Contour Probe

The B300-MR contains electronic circuitry that is sealed within the instruments housing. The external push button switch magnetically activates the power circuit from the outside.

There is no electrical contact between the switch and internal circuit. This instrument is ideally suited for high moisture areas.

B-300 Contour Probe

The B-300 Contour Probe is a lightweight (7 1/2 pounds), Magnetic Inspection Yoke designed to perform Magnetic Particle inspections quickly and reliably.As with the other popular Parker Probes the B-300 has fully adjustable legs which allow the strong AC field to be applied directly to the precise area to be inspected, regardless of part size or mass.

B 310 Contour Probes

The B-310 Contour Probe is a lightweight (6 lbs.) Magnetic Inspection Yoke designed to perform magnetic particle inspections quickly and reliably, and with greater versatility. The overall length of the unit is only 7.25".
The B-310 Mini Contour Probe provides great flexibility and reduced size.

DA-200 AC/DC Contour Probe

The DA-200 Contour Probe is a portable, self-contained instrument designed to produce a magnetic field on or within ferro-magnetic materials.
The selective AC and pulsed DC functions are built into a single reliable instrument. The AC mode produces an intense AC field for detection of surface defects and demagnetizing after inspection. The DC mode produces an intense pulsed DC field for detection of some subsurface defects.

A-210 AC Heavy Duty Superlift

The AC mode produces an intense A.C. field for detection of surface defects and demagnetizing after inspection. Combined with the flexibility of articulating legs and a rugged molded housing, the Contour Probe can be used on nearly any part or surface contour... in the lab, factory, or field site.

The DA-400 Contour Probe is a portable, self-contained instrument designed to produce a magnetic field on or within ferro-magnetic materials.

Contour Probe Kits



Parker Research Yoke / Probe Kits now come in 2 different style cases one is Steel and the other is a Super tuff plastic material.
There are two different style of Kits. The Kit "A" contains the basic items that are needed to perform Visible Inspections. The Kit "AB" is the same as the Kit "A", plus a aerosol can of fluorescent particles and a small Black light

Parker Research Coils

Parker Research Coils

Parker portable magnetizing coils are designed for magnetic particle inspection of ferrous metal parts. The new coils allow for the use of either dry powder or wet fluorescent inspection media and may be used for demagnetizing as well.


The coils are designed for a 50% duty cycle, and are equipped with thermal overload protection. Both the PL-10 and the PL-8 operate from a standard 115 VAC, 60 Hz power source. The PL10S and PL8S operate from a 230VAC, 50-60 Hz power source

DA 750 Portable Magnetic Inspection Unit

The Parker Research DA-750 heavy duty portable magnetic inspection unit provides high output AC or HWDC fields for magnetic particle inspection. Field selection is determined by using the appropriate field cable connector.


Current output is infinitely variable from zero to maximum by use of the current control located on the front panel, and is indicated by the panel meter. Actual current output is determined by cable size and length. AC magnetic fields offer the best sensitivity for detection of surface defect indications.

The Parker Research DA-1500 portable heavy duty magnetic inspection unit provides high output AC or HWDC fields for magnetic particle inspection. Field selection is determined by using the appropriate field cable connector.
