Sherwin Glo-netic Aerosol Magnetic Particle Solution

Glo-netic Aerosol

Glo-netic is a mixture of suspended fluorescent magnetic particles in a highly refined light petroleum oil. The particles respond to magnetic leakage fields created by cracks and other flaws. They rapidly collect at such fields and when viewed under black light, they reveal and profile flaws as bright, glowing yellow-green marks.
Complies with low sulfur and low halogen requirements.

Sherwin Glo-netic GW-1 Mag Particle Dry Powder

Glo-netic GW-1, Mag Particle Powder

Glo-netic GW-1 is a dry concentrate, mixed with light oil or water to find microscopic cracks in ferrous metals by the magnetic particles method. Glo-netic GW-1 can be used for inspecting critical parts. The particles respond to magnetic leakage fields created by cracks and other flaws. They rapidly collect at such fields and when viewed under black light, they reveal and profile flaws as bright, glowing yellow-green marks.

Sherwin Black-Oxide Non Fluorescent Aerosol

Black-Oxide Non Fluorescent Aerosol

Black-Oxide is a black magnetic powder suspended in highly refined light petroleum oil. The particles respond to magnetic leakage fields created by cracks and other flaws. They rapidly collect at such fields producing black lines that reveal and profile flaws.
Complies with low sulfur and low halogen requirements.

Sherwin CP-1 Contrast Paint

CP-1 Contrast Paint

CP-1 contrast paint provides a high contrast background for interpreting magnetic particle indications. By applying white, CP-1 contrast paint to a part before magnetic particle inspection, indications will show more clearly against a white background and be easier to interpret. CP-1 enhances the visibility of black or red-brown magnetic particles under white light conditions. CP-1 is very useful when the color of the surface being inspected approaches the color of the dark magnetic particles.

Sherwin CP-2 Contrast Paint

CP-2 Contrast Paint

CP-2 contrast paint provides a high contrast background for interpreting magnetic particle indications. By applying white, CP-2 contrast paint to a part before magnetic particle inspection, indications will show more clearly against a white background and be easier to interpret. CP-2 enhances the visibility of black or red-brown magnetic particles under white light conditions. CP-2 is very useful when the color of the surface being inspected approaches the color of the dark magnetic particles.
