DP-50 Water Wash Penetrant

DP-50 is a red colored, water-washable dye penetrant liquid used to locate cracks, laps, pores, lack of bonding, and similar surface flaws in any insoluble, nonporous substance including both ferrous and nonferrous metals, ceramics, glass and many plastics. Referred to as the "visible dye penetrant" method or "color contrast" method of inspection for weld inspection.

Complies with low sulfur and low halogen requirements.

D 100 Developer

D-100 developer consists of refined white particles suspended in isopropyl alcohol to give enhanced sensitivity for locating tight, incipient flaws; by solvent and capillary action, it pulls flaw-entrapped penetrant to part surfaces for display against a white background.

Complies with low sulfur and low halogen requirements.

D 106 Developer

D-106 developer consists of refined white particles suspended in a solution of acetone and isopropyl alcohol. This suspension produces enhanced sensitivity for locating tight flaws, incipient flaws; by solvent and capillary action, it pulls flaw-entrapped penetrant to part surfaces for display against a white background.

Complies with low sulfur and low halogen requirements.

DR-60 Cleaner / Remover

DR-60 Cleaner-Remover is used in the penetrant process to remove excess, non water-washable penetrants from part surfaces. DR 60 Cleaner / Remover is used with Sherwin DP-40 Dye Penetrant (visible red) and Sherwin RC-65 and RC-77 Fluorescent Penetrants. It is a manual "wipe on" and "wipe off" material and, consequently, recommended for small areas. DR-60 may also be used for generally cleaning oily, dirty surfaces. DR-60 is especially suitable for cleaning prior to the application of inspection penetrants.

Complies with low sulfur and low halogen requirements.

DR-62 Cleaner / Remover

DR-62 Cleaner-Remover is used in the penetrant process to remove excess penetrant from part surfaces. It is a manual wipe on and wipe off material and is recommended for small areas. DR-62 may also be used for generally cleaning oily, dirty surfaces. DR-62 is especially suitable for cleaning prior to the application of inspection penetrants.
